Login
Once the installation steps are complete, validate that the application is accessible and operational by logging in to Insights. For extended directions, visit Logging in to Resolve Insights.
Navigate to the Insights user interface on http://NCE master host IP/#/login/ and enter the login credentials.
First-time Credentials
For the first time logging in to Insights, please contact Resolve for login credentials.
You should create your admin account using the LDAP settings configuration or the User Management configuration.
Organization and Site Setup
After logging into Insights, you must create an Organization and a Site before using the application.
- The Organization represents your company, organization, or a specific department.
- The Site represents a physical or virtual location within the Organization.
Follow the instructions in the Organizations and Sites documentation to complete this step.
License the Insights Application
The default Insights installation comes with a 30-day license and includes restricted access to the application's features, including device and service discovery and inventory access.
Contact your Resolve representative with information about the name of your organization and the NCE master host IP of the setup to generate an Insights license according to your contract details.
Apply the provided user key in the user interface using the steps in licensing Resolve Insights.
